36th Annual North Georgia Folk Festival is going Virtual!

36th Annual North Georgia Folk Festival

The 36th Annual North Georgia Folk Festival is going virtual this year.

After 35 years of having our annual homecoming North Georgia Folk Festival in the hills of Athens, Georgia, we couldn’t let the COVID-19 crisis keep us down.  So we decided to have the festival as a virtual event featuring music, art and storytelling – just as we usually do.

The event will be shown as a series of three episodes on YouTube and will be offered free of charge.  We will be asking for tips for the performers who have contributed music for this program and will provide links to the artists so you can follow up with them.

 NGFF_20 Pandemic T-Shirts
The North Georgia Folk Festival is going virtual this year but you can still get your T-shirt so there won’t be a gap in your collection and you can support the North Georgia Fol kFestival – at the same time!  The shirt design features an original drawing by Art Rosenbaum of our friends from Hawkproof Rooster, fully masked up against the pandemic.  We are taking advance orders for T-shirts and bandanas for a limited time starting today.  This web store will close on September 13 so we can print your shirts and get them shipped out in time for you to wear them while you watch the first episode of the virtual festival scheduled to debut on Saturday, September 26, 2020.

Support the Folk Festival and order your’s now at
